Management Principles
We always act on the basis of the following three principles
1.We keep a client in the communications loop and exert ourselves toward both proper protection and effective utilization of clientfs intellectual property rights
Keeping in close touch with a client or its local representative will lead to an accurate understanding of both the clientfs invention, creation or brand itself and the significance of its invention, creation, or brand for the business strategy.
Therefore, we always direct particular attention to gan appropriate distanceh from the client and make every effort to enhance communications. We are trying to build a trusting relationship with a foreign client and a local representative in the foreign country.
2.We will find creative ways to support both procurement and enforcement of intellectual property of a client based on the laws of Japan
When a foreign client brings both procurement and enforcement of intellectual property (IP) rights in Japan into view, we actively provide assistance to the client to realize its idea.
We provide proper legal advice in line with the clientfs business strategy based on the Japan IP Laws and other relevant laws and, in some cases, in close coordination and cooperation with another law firm.
3.We always seek to provide a client with value-added legal service with taking good care of each case
We are ready to contribute to both procurement and enforcement of IP rights of a client.
We always seek to improve both the quality of works and the working speed and make every effort to maximize the value of each IP of a client
We are more than happy to be given a chance to provide a legal advice and support based on the clientfs business strategy through smooth communication when the client seeks the procurement or the enforcement of the IP rights as one of the effective tools supporting the business strategy.
